Whimsy?

If I laid down in my whimsy would life be better?

Would I laugh more ?

Would I cry less?

If I laid down in my whimsy,

If I held my fantasies close and painted them bright colors,

If

If I rolled in my whimsy whilst questioning its existence, would I hold fast the problems of this reality ?

If I allowed whimsy to rule, would I return to the place that held me tightly in truth?

Whimsy why do you elude me?

Why do you stay at the fingertips of my life and tease me with abandon?

Whimsy where are you?

And whimsy said … I have never left you.
