SOMETIMES

The story repeats yearly I think.
Yet, Imagine it differently,
From a mirrored view.

No matter, it repeats, this story,
Of youth
Of loss
Of gain
I can relax, sometimes.
Let me be me, sometimes.
I put the cape down, sometimes.
We all need cleansing, sometimes.
We deserve to be free, sometimes.
They all need to laugh, sometimes.
Can’t we just get along, sometimes.
Pretend like we’re strong, sometimes.
Can we age gracefully, sometimes.
Get old with grace, sometimes.
Lay down and cuddle, sometimes.
Remove expectation, sometimes.
Can we just float away and drift, sometimes.
Forget who we are, sometimes.

Just be ?

Look here!
Into THEM and through them.
Don’t you see them?
Past the eyes...

Soul searching
Yes! NOW, do you SEE? Yes!

It matters THIS story,
Of peace
Of remembrance
Of warmth
Of Joy

Sometimes…
