BRUCE HERBERT is a money manager & investment provocateur. 

He is Chief Executive of Newground Social Investment, a past Governing Board Member of ICCR (the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility), and co-founded & was 1st Director of the Northwest Coalition for Responsible Investment.

Bruce is proud to serve on the board of the Whidbey Institute, has participated in Powers of Leadership (not just once, but twice), and was first introduced to the land in the 1980's by Thomas Berry's nephew, Peter.

The Whidbey Institute is a wonderfully beautiful, vibrant, and also profoundly renewing place where I can connect deeply to the natural world and to others.  The deep conversations and learning that unfold there allow me to imagine an abundant, sustainable, and life-affirming future.  Please come!
