The landscape of our present social, political and economic life is so in flux that it is a challenge to remain centered and steady, let alone steer ourselves to a desired destination. Given today's demands, and the presence of both hope an despair in our daily lives, how do we maintain and orient ourselves in meaningful ways for our continued growth and leadership?
  • What is required of us in our leadership practice if we are to hold steady, weather the turbulence, and to discover a way forward through the fog of uncertainty?
  • How do we avoid the traps of denial, cynicism, mere coping, or a false optimism?
  • How do we pay attention, notice new openings and claim a trustworthy and wise creativity?
  • What kind of alliances and support are critical in these conditions?

These are just a few of the questions we will explore in this next session of retreat, ongoing learning, and renewal in Powers of Leadership II – 2012. Craig Fleck, Christie Lynk, Larry Daloz and Sharon Parks will be joined by Mitch Saunders who has been a pioneer in organizational learning practices, fostering resilience in individuals and teams.

Join colleagues from across the cohorts of POL for an engaging and meaningful session that will stimulate your intellect and enliven your spirit in these challenging times.

Registration is sliding scale $325-525 and includes the program, materials and meals. Register here.

Lodging is available for $50 (plus applicable sales tax) for the full session, with options for early arrivals and extended stays.
